What seemed like a long time of not seeing Khris (now a bit taller), Selia would run... er... flop.. rush(?) towards him and by the time she gets to him, Khris ends up falling backwards and she then falls asleep on his lap.

Note:
While the last time they were seen together in the comic "The 1st" and he had his younger appearance.
This is more like a time skip in which Khris had left the place he lived to temporarily move with someone for a few months
Also, he might be there for some time since Selia's species is a bit on the heavy side of things.
(Think of those large seals and how big and heavy they are. So something like that. Plus, she's not full-grown either.)
And not to worry about her, too much. She is fine on land as well.
