Houdini got his name because he routinely escaped from the paddock then returned, we weren't able to find his escape route for ages.
Buck and a Half had an umbilical hernia and needed surgery, the procedure cost 150 bucks, hence...Buck and a Half!
Buck and a Half has the widest rack we ever had here, (see Bucky Boy) we always thought he wouldn't develop because his mother died shortly after his birth, poor guy has had his share of problems but now stands to inherit the herd this fall. Both bucks are great buddies and hang out together most of the time, and enjoy compassionate scritching any time of day or night.

He thinks he's a "Chippendale Dancer", you know...those cute guys who wear a little more then tuxedo ties!
He would wear it all the time but the other bucks get jealous.

Do you own a ranch for this herd of fallow deer? How many fallow bucks and does total do you have?

Not myself, I help Bucky manage the herd, I think there's about twenty out there, nearly even in ratio of Bucks and Does.
It's a nice friendly and peaceful herd, at least until the Rut, then there may be some excitement.
