Being a Healer is a rare talent, and not everyone can master this skill. It is believed that both the Moon and the Sun favor them.

Flinos believe that in order to learn to be a Healer, you need to be able to sense the life force, both in your fellow tribesmen and in the surrounding plants and minerals. This helps to choose the right treatment, especially if a new disease appears.

Due to their small numbers, Healers almost never leave the settlement, but this does not make their life safe. Instead of fighting predators, they fight diseases that they themselves can become infected with, heal injuries, take care of the weakened, sometimes spending days without sleep and rest at the beds of the sick.
