okay sure, Growlithes are just the right size, their about the same size of a German Shepherd, just about 2 feet at the shoulder.

My Arcanine is six feet tall

And that huge thing can fit in my pocket in my pokeball, but he usually walks around with me like Raven and his Espeon unless we cross a narrow bridge or something

You do realise to catch the pokemon you need to get them into the Pokéballs, right?

Well I got this growlithe from a breeder

Even then, for ownership of the Pokémon to be tied to the breeder he would have a Pokéball registered to him. Think of a Pokéball as an implanted microchip ID Tag for your Pokémon. This way, if another trainer sees your Growlithe (say you let him explore for awhile) and tries to catch him, their Pokéball will fail to capture because he is already registered to a Pokéball. So transfer of Ownership is achieved via the Pokéballs, as in the breeder would have changed ownership to you, although the breeder would still show up in the data as the OT (Original Trainer)

Also, Pokéballs are a method of transport for your Pokémon. Pokéballs can be teleported by PCs as data, and if you already have six Pokémon on you, any more captured will be automatically transported to your Pokémon Professor's laboratory, he would have been the one to give you your Pokémon License, your first Pokémon, your Pokédex and registered you as an official trainer so you can use the free services of Pokémon Centres as lodging, communications (phone and mail) and hospitals. Since you got your Growlithe from your breeder he would have just registered you, given your Pokédex and your license.

I wasn't sure if I could pull it off, you know what a perfectionist I am and my self-confidence issues

I was so relieved that managed to get it right. I coloured everything as normal in daylight, then I created a layer above the colour and used a blue paintbrush with the opacity turned down real low to colour everything over. I'm glad it was so effective ^_^

Didn't achieve the right effect. Night is blue, not black
