badgers really do make for good merchants. Not sure why, but I'm certain there's a joke about being "in the black" you can make in there somewhere.

but funnily enough, in my own campaigns, i have a recurring family of badgers that run a roaming merchant's business, with the joke being no one but themselves can tell them apart, often complaining about how obvious it is to them.

That's pretty clever, I'll think about how I might make that joke in character. --- Seems like your badger barterers have the Nurse joy situation down pat. It's a nice way to inform players where they can buy and sell their treasures and wares.
