A commission for my dear friend JJ the Otter! He's showing a strange jungle slug to a new Cassowary friend while an orangutan looks on from the jungle trees. JJ is dressed in a safari outfit and hat, similar to Tommy Pickle's safari attire from the Rugrats Movie oh so long ago, including the khaki diaper!

That is correct, they both are dinosaurs, and both are pretty derived theropod dinosaurs! Both are in the Paraves group of Theropod Dinosaurs.
though birds split from what would be the Velociraptor in the mid Jurassic, and Velociraptors only showed up in the Late Cretaceous, so there is a 80 million years gap there...
So Birds are about as closely related to Velociraptors as we are to... all Placental Mammals... Us and Marsupials might be pushing it, but just by a bit :P

The lowest frequencies they make are on the extreme low end of human hearing and aren't really covered that well on phone video. Those frequencies ar emore felt than heard, but the ones you can hear are pretty crazy!

I mean, the orangutan and Cassowary don't live in the same area... they've got several islands in the middle, but it is correct that Cassowartys are pretty chill, though the claws on the feet are much bigger, but I didn't notice they had the big quils at the end of the wings till now, had to check it, and it's real! it's just black on black and you don't normally get a very good look at them IRL (in zoos and such)
