in your deck, like this autumnal raccoon by Dark Natasha,
it used to be my favorite piece of furry artwork
back in the days when there were only a handful
of creators as capable as her.

I am so very honored and happy to own this deck! I bought it around 2010 from a vendor next to me at MFF in the Artist's Alley back when they used to have it down in the basement rooms of the main hotel. It didn't sell well over the weekend at all and I hedged the entire weekend between earning money and buying a deck. I'm so happy I gave in on Sunday! XD It is a combination of many different artists from the furry community such as Dark Natasha and other heavy-hitting artists who helped build a foundation for the fandom. Unfortunately, the deck's website is shut down so they can't be bought anymore. It's my favorite deck. <3 <3 <3

A friend of mine is a certified psychological counselor,
and she's told me of how metaphoric associative cards
with various artistic depictions of situations and emotions
are used in that field to help people make sense
of their internal struggles and drives,
although the methods used are very different
from the Tarot and other schools of scrying.
It is nice to see how handheld art can be used
to study and change the fates of people
in such different ways.

Associated meanings and symbolism are very strong throughout human interpretation of our world as well as emotions and self identification. I find our associations and symbolisms we give animals are a very strong and natural way for humans to self identify and explore understanding the world. :3
