Another artshow piece for Eurofurence this year! And my goodness did I have a lot of fun with this one :D

I have finally decided to listen to the art advice of 'draw backgrounds, you coward', and I'm pretty proud of myself for pushing myself. Environmental storytelling is honestly pretty fun, and I enjoyed putting in little details like the little bits of grass poking out between the cobblestones.

I'm hoping to be able to produce more pieces with backgrounds in the future, it's definitely a skill I want to properly develop.
... Now to actually start working with proper perspective. Don't go looking for a vanishing point in this one, it's all vibes ;)

This piece was made with watercolour and colour pencil, once again on a Baohong cover page - this one had a nice soft yellow colour, which made me want to make a summery piece <3
