Artshow - Baby of Mine
My second to last piece for the Eurofurence Artshow this year!
Why yes, I was listening to the 1941 Baby Mine song from Disney's Dumbo while painting this.
I wanted to include a relatively simple piece in my artshow lineup, also as a nice way to get to test one of my new Baohong cotton watercolour pads. And I really don't draw enough bears! Eurasian brown bears are one of my favourite species, so this piece was based off of reference images of those lovely creatures.
I'll definitely be spoiling myself with this type of paper more often, the absorbency is absolutely amazing.
Painting this was an absolute delight, and I hope you'll love it just as much <3
Now if you'll excuse me, I gotta go hug my mum. Again.
