Sad that the main thing about the original story is that Alice meets all these unhinged people, and she stays a well brought up Victorian girl. To her they are the silly ones and she wants to go back to her ordinary life.
I do like to think that she grows up to be a jolly eccentric who collects weird things and writes stories. (She’s based on a real person, but I’m thinking about the character in the book)
