Aloha!!
As a big fan of Lilo and Stitch (one of Disney's more expansive yet underrated franchises), I HAD to see the 2025 live action remake and I was not disappointed. It was a wonderful nostalgia trip from start to finish, with a very faithful reimagining of the story and characters from the original animated film along with some new stuff that managed to not take the recreation too far off the rails.
The overarching plot of a troubled girl getting along with a highly destructive alien, the songs "He Mele No Lilo", "Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride" and the inclusion of Elvis Presley's hits undoubtedly left a lasting impression on me as a kid and still as an adult today that the original 2002 film was far ahead of it's time with it's theming and aesop.
And that's what inspired this lil chibi of Xevy! Their outfit is almost a 1:1 replica of Lilo's hula attire she wore in the 2002 film and Lilo & Stitch: The Series! Perfect to show off some exotic vibes and swingin' shaka moves before the sun sets on summer this year.
