Those Lamp Emeralds designs for some of the Sonic girls are just too good.
They give ways to new stories, even very short stuff like the thing below. So when rakuma-imp needed the money to repair their tablet, Vanilla was one of the first thing to pop to mind to ask for a sketch. They respected her design extremely well along with the vibes. Then, Gameboyred went on to color and here we go...a new depiction of the most powerful character in all Sonic.

MARVELOUS MOM
Hello me!
This is the twentieth entry to my new journal that mom gave me. She thought it would me write better and that it might help me adjust to things. They sure have changed a lot ever since that lamp with an emerald arrived in our home. Like, a lot.
I'll admit I was a bit scared because her attitude did change just a little. Mama is usually more calm, more reserved though the sweetest person ever. She's still super nice and I wanna be like her when I grow up, but now she's a bit more...confident? She used to be a bit more modest but now she's bold. She doesn't wear the same clothes as before too, something that rivals even Ms. Rouge now...or so some other people say. I'm not sure what they mean by that, honestly. I mean, Rouge is pretty but I always knew my mom was the prettiest and the best.
We haven't seen any attacks or any particular baddies get close to our home. Mom said that we shouldn't worry about that anymore. Only friends can come in now. I'm actually really glad, because I don't like it when Gemerl has to fight. I know he'd do it to protect us and that he can't really feel pain...but I don't like it. He's my friend, part of the family like Cheese and Chocola. So I'm really happy that things are better for him now and that he can focus on being happy.
Speaking of Cheese and Chocola, they have been surprisingly polite and considerate these days. Not that they're bad or behaving like Rough and Tumble, but they are sometimes a little mischievous or just easily distracted. Mom had a talk with them and sometimes they have those little swirls in their eyes. It's kinda funny in a way, as if they were dizzy! Mom must have given them an earful and it's too much for them.
Everyone except me is dressed as if they came from Sandopolis or Sand Hill. I know they don't all dress like that, but the little turbans on the Chao's and the little silk trail for Gemerl are fancy. Mom says what she wears is a bedlah. First time I hear that word but she's so pretty with it. She never showed so much skin before, not even at the beach, but she just seems so comfortable and happy with it. If it makes her smile, then I'm okay with the bedlah...but I asked when I would get one and she said “when you'll get older”, so that's not really fair.
We don't really see Mr. Sonic all that often these days, which bums me out a little if I'm to be entirely honest. Others say it's because he's still busy defeating Eggman, but that he also got together with Amy. I'm so happy for them both! It's so romantic, so I have to be a good girl and give them space. Can't get in the way of love.
Speaking of love, I've seen Mr. Vector a little more often at home lately. It was obvious even to me that he had a thing for mama and she seems to be really friendly with him. He even sleeps here on occasion, leaving me his headphones and his tunes. Sometimes they have to talk about grownup stuff, so Gemerl, Chocola, Cheese and I spend some time in the garden. A picnic, watering the flowers, playing tag, they are all so busy making sure I spend some quality time even though mama and Vector aren't there. I have the best family ever.
When mama is here, though, it's the best. She has such powers now, becoming a genie. I don't really get wishes per se, again “when you'll get older”, but she can do so much now. She still likes to cook and tend to her garden on her own, but she can summon almost anything. She made an amusement park the other day! She extended our garden, like it's ten times its usual size and there are palm trees, exotic plants, a place for potatoes and corn...it's amazing.
My mom's a genie now and so long as her lamp is in the safe, hidden and protected...she'll be with me and she won't kidnapped or something like that ever again. She promised me, that she'll be there for me, that something like the Metal Virus won't ever happen again. I believe her as she is amazing, ever more than before. I didn't think it was possible, but she keeps on proving me that it can.
I hope to be as awesome as she is in the future.
