This is Erdile's "plantsona". This character appealed to me for many reasons: she's unique, easy to draw, and I also intended on drawing my own iteration of a Venus Fly Trap anthro someday. I still might get around to that someday. Yes, she is a plant with... with... a belly button! It's blasphemy, I know.

I really appreciate that Erdile has developed this "plantsona". I've never understood why people in furry communities don't adopt more unique representations of themselves. I'm not trying to bash you if you have a canine or feline character, because I can understand why they would be among the more popular choices. But, as a whole, it's just plain ridiculous how many of them there are. The animal (heck, even the plant) world has so many unique choices! Not everybody can be a wolf, I'm sorry to say.

Also, I just want to say something about artists' interpretations of anthros. As you can see, Erdile's plantsona has breasts, and I'm glad for it. Not because I'm a pervert (though, I may be), but because this perfectly illustrates that there is no "correct" way to draw anthros. Surely, plants do not have boobs! However, you must also consider that they don't have legs and arms either. So, I'm just getting a little tired of people developing this hawty-tawty attitude because they didn't draw breasts on their non-mammalian anthro. Should I call you out for giving your insect person a human nose and eyes with pupils? No. Anthros are fantasy creatures that can be drawn however you wish and can utilize any humanoid feature. So please, don't look down on people for drawing boobs on their characters.
