the bane of my existence
41 hours over 2 months
original idea was to have a beach background with a sunset and light breeze, but after the first month I grew increasingly tired of working on this and wanted to move on to other things so that bg idea was scrapped.
to at least give an idea of wind presence I put some particles in the background and gave em motion blur, seems to do a decent job.
it started as a fully symmetrical drawing and then I added some asymmetry. I think the arms/shoulders could have used something different, I experimented with having a hand on her chest/collar bone area and behind her head but I didn't quite like it so I left as is. told myself "I'll make it look asymmetrical somehow with shading" and uhh yeah, it would have worked with a visible light source and directional shading, but I went with a simpler bg instead so that wouldn't have worked
got it to a good enough state shading wise and here it is. there are a couple errors/weird fuckery that I can't seem to nail exactly what's wrong, some stuff feels *off* but I want to move on from this.
I think it's pretty good, especially seeing it with and without shading, definitely can be better.
