I like the Pentel brushpen a lot! It has bristles, instead of a sponge tip, so it acts very much like a brush, and the ink cartridge is replaceable w/refills.
The ink is also waterproof once it dries
The only thing to be wary of, is that it does take a little bit to dry, especially on illustration board, so it can be easily smudged if you aren't careful.
