I decided to attend Everfree Northwest 2025 to meet/offer my zhanks to one of zhe actors for her performances in zhe show and spinoffs, and to get an autograph of a character pic; as more guests of honor were announced I realized a larger main-cast pic would be better. Zhis idea persisted in za back of my mind until 1 day before ze convention when I decided to do a "quick digital painting" in Clip Studio Paint zat turned into one of my self-imposed (regrettably) crunch projects.

The result came togezher absurdly quickly (in under 24 hours), I got it rush-printed as a 24x36 poster in Bellevue and carried it in a collapsible plastic poster tube every day. All four folks I got to autograph it seemed to like ze art, but meeting zhem in person was za real benefit. ~v~

Zhe convention itself was amazing, no caveats to speak of beyond my own unpreparedness and initial attitude -- having had no idea what to expect, I was happy to find a lively event on par wizh any ozher well-run medium-size furry convention. I went to it as a fun experiment, but now it'll be an annual zhing -- and I'll be trying to fill out my personal print wizh autographs (and draw ensemble pics of ozher MLP groups, as different cast members become available) as much as I can.~
