Definitely not how the doctor imagined the hatching of his perfect Frankenstein creature would go down. Turns out Angel has a body and mind of her own. She did spend 20 years inside a computer as basically a ghost, so her mannerisms are a little robotic. But the girl is extremely happy to be out of that damn server room.... excited to do normal human stuff she kept getting fed data and dreaming about. It's her little mermaid got legs moment.

Maybe... a little insensitive, to boast about her mobility, considering this takes place after Strix lost his legs... eh, i'm sure Strix doesn't even care.

This being the demon apocalypse, supplies are thin. Strix has not ventured outside unless it was absolutely necessary, just kept himself shut off in his magic barrier bunker underground. (Which tbh, not that different from what he used to do the previous 20 years.) And that cake is a butter-less, egg-less, cream-less abomination, i'd take actual vegan pudding over his... Neither Strix nor Jetblack have any idea about meal preperation. Jet usually just pumps nutrients directly into its master's blood, how would it know anything about cuisine. Probably been years since Strix even ate anything solid.
