After arriving on the Island Sammy was rather distraught for their first few weeks having lost their family and all of their friends after they were abducted, and to make matters worse they kept up their thieving ways and stole something from almost every resident on the island within these first few weeks even more so because they felt immense pleasure when stuffing things into their body. When sammy was eventually caught they were initially going to be punished for their crimes though when their kleptomaniac problem was revealed they were instead given the job of being the islands mail carrier and were allowed "steal" certain items so long as they dropped them off in the correct place, this also gave her a chance to become more familiar with the islands residents and helping her to feel better.
