Perthfur Gathering Website.
Perthfur Gathering aka PFG is a large gathering of furries living in Perth, Western Australia. It's not big enough to be a con, only getting about 80 people at the last gathering. We hire a hall for a day and organise events such as art contests, gaming, tail-tag and others.
PFG is hosted by sirukie, foxronyo, jackrlupus, myself, drackirwolf and Flair.
Coming up is PFG5 - and to mark the fifth PFG I was asked to create a mascot. Perth is on the Swan River, and a black swan is on the flag for Western Australia. Put that together with my interest in birds, and we get a black swan mascot.
As of yet, the mascot has no name. I'm thinking of asking for name ideas at PFG5 :} So far we have Perfy, Flippard and Swahn.
As you may notice, the mascot is dressed as a leopard. That's because his fursona is a leopard xD I found the concept of a mascot with an alternate species fursona amusing.
So yeah, here's a possible conbook cover design for PFG5.
