Story
She walked carefully with every step. Her claws ensuring that she had a clear step forward as she moved toward the light. The darkness of this cavern was almost like a physical force. She pushed against it and pulled her wings tighter when she felt the moist limestone walls.
She blinked, moving forward, ever forward. That light was her hope, if she could just get there, and run from this darkness.
When her claws met the smooth stone at the threshold of the cavern she relaxed. The brilliant warmth of the light filled her heart and mind. Her eyes looked up, seeing the source beyond.
She stepped out of the dark.
