More bioluminescent art! A favorite of mine!

Right, so- I devised this piece to be (in personal canon) the very last time that Faen is seen with his original and previous design chronologically. It takes place after the conclusion of the events at This Post!. Note the striking difference of scenery - there was a considerable amount of media inspirations for the background of this piece, but one of the major one I can recall involves that blue glow. Para and I discussed the idea of having more fantastical elements present, and we wanted to go for that will-o-wisp ethereal feel like Pixar's 'Brave' pulled off. Love those guys! As well as many other lovely details he worked in, I love the perspective looking skyward.

As for my pointing out of how different this scenery is- Faen finds himself in a place between places, by himself. After an attempt to tamper with artifacts more dangerous than he really was prepared for, he has been transported to somewhere unknown without any trace of his former location. Whatever transpired between then and now is a mystery to him. Whatever is going on his head is also a mystery, but the fixation to follow these glowing sprites remains. They've led him to a constructed spire of some kind so far. The convergence of stormy clouds has also gathered around this spire... whether this is related to the same Precursors whose tech landed him in this whole mess of a place or something even older, who can tell - but he aims to discover at least this much.
