RedRaptor16 Commission - When Two Worlds Meet
redraptor16 drew this amazing meeting between my Metamor Keep (metamorkeep.com) character and my Triceratops self gone quadraped. I have long wanted to commission my friend, nd when i finally did, I asked him for suggestions on what pictures he'd like to draw. This was one of them and I'm so very glad I asked him for this one! I really love the tenderness in this meeting, and the richness in detail that he gave to both sides of myself. He even put the roll of Duct tape over one of my horns, which seems to be as much a trade mark as the black handprint on the right side of my rat face. What's really impressive is that he doesn't normally draw mammals; yet I think he nailed my rat-self, even providing one of the best portrayals yet offered.
Thank you yet again, Red! I'm so very honored and delighted to be the recipient of such a well-done and well-loved commission.

My rat character is from the Metamor Keep story universe (metamorkeep.com). I've been writing about him since 1997 when the setting got started. In one of the stories, during combat, he is struck in the face with the hand of an evil creature whose flesh is so hot it will sear your one's from the bone if they can get a hold of you. He was just touched and so the damage was only on the skin and fur. but the flesh there was completely blackened and no fur will grow anymore. The pain was incredible, but he survived and has kept the scar since.
The irony is that it was a spur of the moment, "Oh this will be cool" kind of things I do in stories. But it's really made my character stand out and I'm delighted by it now.

I answered the question f the duct tape in another post so I won't repeat it here. Suffice it to say that of all the steampunk style elements that I like to wear as a Triceratops, he roll of duct tape on the horn is the one people seem to remember best, so there we have it!
