Of course, of course. I have yet to think of a good alternate-universe version of my most twisted and evil villain, but I have thought of a variation of Dr. Nefar, who's a bad guy in name only as he would prefer to be considered one of the heroes (but the heroes don't approve of his paranoia fueled doomsday scenarios preparations).
