Heres some art of Pod i did a few days ago, i want to start drawing out scenes from the book but this ones more of a meme about the Longi tribe culture and them ignoring everything negative happening around them lol

If you haven't read Pod, its a xenofiction novel about sea animals in the apocalypse and its for a more mature audience. Ea is disabled and partly deaf but she can hear unnatural things like human ships in the distance that others dont hear. My design for Ea herself is here

The Longi homewater is stunningly beautiful and apparently one of the few places that hasnt been ruined by pollution so i tried to illustrate its beauty in this scene. Even though this background was only a quick pass that took about an hour its a good start
