As the December full moon arrives, Alex lets his shift happen while wearing some clothing he was planning to throw out. To learn firsthand what to do if he was unlucky enough to feel a shift coming but had no chance of carefully getting his clothes off.

Right away, his jeans cause issues, forcing him to tear them in spots. By the end, despite how destroyed his clothing becomes, he still feels constrained. Only after cutting himself free with a multi-tool knife did the feeling go away, and his mind was then made up on carrying one with him, just in case it ever happened.
