These tall, lanky humanoids are members of the Fire Knights, an order of knights who answer directly to Messmer the Impaler, distinguishing themselves by their Crimson cloaks and twin golden serpents coiled around their necks, which symbolizes their bond to their master. Each Fire Knight descended from esteemed noble families of the Erdtree's high society but were exiled from their homes after they pledged their loyalty to Messmer.
The Fire Knights are the only ones who understood their master's cursed, serpent-like flames and the torment that consumes him.
