Kruin in style "9" animated film

The other day, I was hit with a wave of nostalgia for the movie “9”. I was completely captivated by it when I was 12, and even now, it still pulls me right back into that world every time I watch it.
I’m usually not that into post-apocalyptic settings, dystopias, or war stories, if I’m being honest. But “9” is different. I have a feeling I’m not the only one who feels this way about “9”, yet it’s a movie that often gets overlooked. Maybe I’ll be inspired to create more art based on this universe in the future, who knows?
Sorry for the long preamble. It just got me thinking - could I send my owl character there? She’s an adventurer - a courageous and spirited woman. I could’ve made her human, like the character 7. But it felt right to preserve the essence of Kruin and create something more intricate than a little human figure. This piece is currently one of my all-time favorites.
I wish I could talk more often about WHAT my work means to me, I don't know if it's of interest to anyone...
