i think i remember now the reason i never saw anyone praising avatar and sorry if i sound negative about it: the naavi looks cool and so did pandora, they always did and nobody ever criticized them, but outside of that, there was never that much substance regard the universe they created nor the characters/plot in the movie itself being just a sci-fi version of disney's pocahontas (which in itself was just a imitation of Dances with wolves).
