South-Sinner hit it out of the park with the design of the second form the fangrels can take from their standard anthro form. As you can see it's rather large but still built for a watery lifestyle. The fangrel is full in control in this form they are just stronger and faster in this form. The drawback is being unable to talk, use magic, wield weapons. Most visitors to a fangrel colony aren't really able to figure out that it's just a shifted form which tends to give the fangrel an element of surprise. But everything that is known about how the fangrels work and react to others is the same to them in this form.
