Chapter 2
The next day I woke up happily & refreshed. Took a shower & got dressed. I didn’t have a long shift so I knew it was the best day hoping to finally meet my secret admire later on in the evening. Several hours later it was time to go. Same as usual, made sure I cleaned up & drove home and when I did…I drew for a bit. When it was 6:15, I went to shower quickly & then got dressed casually for the night. Got my keys & headed out the door, as soon as I got in my car & started it up my phone rang… ‘’oh no’’ I thought. I picked it up & looked at it, it was dad. All through dad was divorced recently he gave up looking for the ladies & started dating the guys, yeah he’s now gay, often times he gets drunk when he calls then his BF has to take his phone & tell me it was nothing. I opened my phone and answered politely ‘’hello dad’’. To his responds he slurred, hey you…I heard you owe me money. Where is it? Daddy…this isn’t the time to talk, I got to meet someone tonight…how about a talk tomorrow? He grumbled & said ok then hung up. Hurrying my butt up and managed to get to Jerry’s before it was 7. I told the waiter that I was waiting for someone; as soon as I wait I see the buffed kangaroo I spotted yesterday. He waved at me & pointed at an empty chair at his table. In my mind I was thinking…’’so he’s my secret admire?’’
