The main doctor at the Fuchsia Pokemon Center, she runs the hospital with an iron fist, but unlike any other pokémon center, humans are also welcome there. Thanks to Avah, medicine in Kanto has come a long way with her miracle pills, which cure the worst diseases and even give temporary enhancement effects to those who take them, such as increased strength, speed, concentration and even resistance to.... acids....
Avah was rescued by Alex, Fuchsia's current gym leader, from her abusive old trainer, and with the freedom she has finally obtained she has decided to help Alex take care of Fuchsia City and its inhabitants.
