wellira (center) is basically a nouveau riche noble and celebrity having acquired fame and wealth from her career as a fashion designer, cyriks (left) has a lot of land and a nice title but not much beyond that, and belomiy (right) has bad PR and needs to ensure his royal lineage continues... so they do this song and dance at every gala, ball, festival, etc because The Court Demands It but none of them could be less interested in each other.
