Sketchbook Entry: Grassland Paroot

Info:
Species: Grassland Paroot
Height: about 6 1/2 feet
Fur: Brown and Creme
Eyes: orange brown


Bio:
A recently discovered variant of the Plains Paroot (which were spotted in Nov 2023.)
This variant has a stockier build than the Plains and Forest species.
Much like the other 2, they too build nests near the bases of trees and current surroundings.
Unlike the others, they tend to move locations a few times per year (based on the seasons)
The markings on the Grassland species are different than the Plains.
Like the others, they too, can mimic the sounds they hear

Notes:
The young (aka a jo'chik), tend to be on the big side as well when compared to the young of the other variants.
Even though they have some kangaroo elements, they tend to "walk" more than jump/hop.
And like the others, they tend to be friendly and like head scratches.
Despite being a "mix" of a parrot and a kangaroo. They are not true hybrids but are only listed as such in the tags
