Original Species: Lesser Gworp
The Lesser Gworp is the smallest known member of its genus. Scholars believe that it is the most basal extant relative of the towering giants native to Vogelheim's grasslands.
This roughly turkey-sized bird can often be seen foraging for seeds and fresh leaves in the forest's undergrowth. Both males and females have greenish-brown feathers to better hide from predators. However, males can be distinguished by blue rings under their eyes; the more vivid the blue, the more attractive the male.
The exact nesting and feeding habits of this bird are still unknown, since it is rather elusive. Only a handful of sightings have been documented so far.
