Finally a decent artwork of my Pokésona!
This took me way longer than it should have, but for some reason I kept running into one issue after another during the drawing process :'D
My Pokésona is a houndour. I love houndoom but I'm not big, scary and cool enough IRL to picture myself as one, so I went with the smaller, more chubby and wanna-be-evil puppy as my Poké-ego.
She was hatched by a trainer who was trying to breed a shiny houndour by mass hatching and was released to the wild due to the fact that she wasn't what he was hoping for.
She loves berries, especially pineap berries and enjoys hanging out with ghost Pokémon, who are not afraid of her being a dark type (and therefore super effective on them) because of her pretty friendly nature.
She likes to act tougher than she is and sometimes will pick fights with Pokémon who are stronger than her.
She has blue eyes, scars on her legs and wears a necklace with a feline claw around her neck to link her to my real self.
She's only level 18 and her moves are:
Feint
Ember
Roar
Bite
She can be drawn with my umbreon Dreamcatcher or any of your Pokémon OCs :D

All your work is just such a joy to look at! T^T The clean lines and colors, the ambient shading, the mood, it's amazing. On top of that, I just love your pokesona. Houndour is one of my favourite Pokemon out there and your design is a perfect mix of original pokemon and a few individual design choices to make it original. I love her. Makes me wanna work on my long lost pokesona as well (a very weird creeper Sableye).
This piece of art is amazing. I am always happy to see you update!

It's actually kinda funny and ironic how people compliment on my clean lines when I would love to let go of that perfectionism from time to time and go with more messy lines xD
Don't get me wrong it's a HUGE compliment and I'm really happy to hear people notice how much work I put into my line work! It's just that sometimes I feel like I had an easier time if I wasn't so picky with my lines, haha.
I'm a big fan of seeing Pokémon drawn in the artist's style, so I'm trying to add my own style to them too. I would love to see your Sableye. I love all dark types a lot and Sableye is such a weird but cool Pokémon. Especially the way it moves and twitches!

Oh, I feel that! I am pretty sure your art would still be amazing even in a messier / sketchier style. In my experience, it's fine to have several styles, there doesn't have to be just one polished style! The best is to sometimes just let go and let stuff be messy, unfinished or low effort. Best is to just upload the messier things as well. Its quite a process but its woth it. Be sure that I will be excited to see any of your works, no matter if sketch or fully polished! <3
But that said! Credit where credit is due! If you take the time to do such intense linearts, I want you to know I see it and I am in love with it! So many people can rarely see a difference between quick, messy or clean and polished lineart (or people simply dont care as they view art as a whole and less the process), so as a fellow artist I always feel like I have to point out exactly those parts that, in my opinion, must have been such a hassle and so much work! Art process takes forever and not every step is as much fun as we artists like to make people believe (haha), so when I see work that the artist must have spent much time on, I gotta point out that I see the work! (if that makes sense quq) SO YESSSS I see it, I see the work you put into it, and I love every piece as the work is absolutely worth it and makes your pieces pop, but I am pretty sure if you throw a simple sketch at me or imperfect drawings I would love it anyway because your characters and art are just that good T^T ♥
AND YESS! I love pokemon in all kinds of style, comic, realistic, or anything in between! ♥
Honestly I picked Sableye because it is just such a weird creature, never cared much for it in the base game, but then I discovered it animated in Pokemon Colloseum (and the following games where it was animated), which its creepy twitchy animations and spiky teeth and I just fell in love with that gremlin. My sableye OC definitely needs a proper rework as his first drafts were so cringe, but basically he was a slobbering, gem-eating weirdo who liked to stalk people from the darkness and lick/bite them to test if they are tasty (after all, I doubl Sableye have a good vision since they live in darkness and have gemstone eyes lol), much like sharks. xD
