Finished my drawings for GalaCon just in time!

Depicted here are Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Luna and Mistmane as humans/elves, to get signed bei their respective voice actresses at this years GalaCon in Waiblingen. Their designs are inspired by their pony forms, human forms and various outfits they wore throughout the series, movies, specials and comics.


For Twilight I mixed her coronation outfit as well as her royal regalia together. Plus, I love the yellow/golden stripe she has in her rainbow form, so I always include it in my renditions of her. Plus plus, I adore Twili with glasses, so no matter if I draw pony or human Twilight, I'll give her a cute pair; just look how nerdy she looks with them, so cute! I tried giving her a sort of Magical Girl vibe, feel free to tell me if I succeeded with that or not!

Rarity I wanted to depict as flirty and sassy, and I love her shorter curls from Legend of Everfree, so I mashed that together with a different outfit to make this. I tried to go for a mix of noble courtesan and burlesque: SFW but still flirty!

Luna is greek for me, there is no way around it. I already had that headcanon, and after reading one of the comics about the mirror dimension in which she actually wears greek inspired clothing? I was sold! I took a lot of inspiration from that specific comic rendition, though I changed up the colors to make her look more dark and night-like. And I kept her skin color very close to her fur color, as I find her pale version in Equestria Girls a bit off-putting.

And last but actually drawn first is Mistmane, who was by far the easiest: she is clearly inspired by east asian aesthetic, literally wearing a kimono-like garment in the show, so I tried to translate that design as close as possible from pony to human version. And yes I am aware, canon Mistmane is old, and it is a big part of her character arc, AND her voice actress loves that she decided to give up her beauty like so, but I just can't resist drawing my ladies as pretty as I can, so I usually draw young Mistmane.


I am super happy with how they turned out, and am excited to continue finetuning my current shading and rendering style.
