The Original Leader of Hell Creek
Now, in the Dino Daycare timeline, I mentioned a character named Jackson Horner, a Torosaurus, who served as the original leader of team Hell Creek, and also the main protagonist of his own series, a "Season 0" if you will. That took place one year prior to the events of Dino Daycare that we never really get to see.
Speaking of which, this is Jackson! He's an amiable, soft-spoken, and sharp thinking Torosaurus boy, who lead by example, and was always willing to stand up for him as his team if anyone dared to threaten them. He hated those who would indulge in unnecessary cruelty out of some misguided idea, whether it be prejudice, injustice, or bigotry. Jackson tolerates none of those, and was always there to be the bigger kid, a rather big fan of "Why not pick on someone your own size?" using his strength and voice of reason to ensure that no one gets hurt.
Aside from his strong sense of justice, Jackson enjoys western/cowboy themes much like Tracy, although he isn't as crazy as her when it comes to horses. He's more of a fan of country music, and wishes to be a guitarist when he grows up! I'd also say he likes guns but... he's a little young for that right now. Doesn't stop him from playing with cork guns though!
It was a simpler time back then, there were no such things as T-Rex toddlers with super strength wielding princess complexes, paraplegic child genius Plesiosaurs obsessed with puzzles and the paranormal, or Egomaniac Azhdarchids creating militias out of Kindergartners.
Nah, most of the teams have yet to be formed, the more 'eccentric' cast members have yet to arrive, and I mean the main 'bad guy' (Seth the Suchomimus) was just a goofy cartoon villain, who would shake his fist at the hero and say something along the lines of "Curse you Jack! my plans would've worked if it weren't for that team of goody two shoes dinos of yours!" rather than say... Sever, who would fly you up to the top of the daycare's jungle gym and threaten to drop you off if you didn't tell him exactly what he wanted.
Back in the day, Jackson and Tracy were considered the strongest kids in all of Dino Daycare! Funny, considering nowadays, Tracy is mainly considered 'pretty tough', apparently not even a daycare is immune to power creep. But back in the day, these two Ceratopsians were sitting pretty at the top of the class, and after Seth's last failed plan to hurt Hell Creek's reputation, Team Elrhaz briefly disbanded with Ludo taking over, and the duo lead Hell creek together as the greatest team in Dino Daycare! Where even their brief run in with an early version of the Jurassic Punks barely fazed them. Things seemed to be going great into next year...
But ever since last winter, Jackson's family has needed to move out of town, which meant Hell Creek needed a new sheriff, and Jackson knew that Tracy, his partner and favorite deputy who had served alongside him the past year was more than capable of taking over as the new team leader. While Tracy was unsure at first, especially since the two were much better together. circumstances would leave the two kids sadly separated for now. As Tracy, Maxwell and Ellie title him with what they believe is the best they could give an official member of the Dinosquad; "Dinosquad Gold"
Till this day Tracy still struggles to get over the departure of the Torosaurus boy, often feeling hurt by her shortcomings as a leader without him by her side, wondering if she's even worthy in the first place, although mainly due to her crush on him, Tracy often mythologizes Jackson's status, making him out to be wayyy better than he ever was. Even Jackson admits, after hearing everything that's been going on, he doesn't even know if HE could've handled all of it by himself and is genuinely rather curious, as to just what in tarnation is happening back there. And to be fair, the two Ceratopsians were really at their best when they were working together alongside each other!
And even if Jackson may not be able to be a part of the team during the times the kids are at daycare, him and his family often visit during the holidays! Whether it's summer break, halloween, or christmas, Jackson is sure to return to catch up with his fellow compatriots! So just because he's not around much, don't think he's gone forever! as he himself says "Don't y'all forget about me now, ya hear?" Tracy certainly hasn't!
Also, there's a ton of jokes I could've made here, but there's too many of them to choose from so... take your pick:
>When I stroll into the WOW WOW
>The lyrics of literally any song from FO:NV
>YGOTAS Bandit Keith reference
>"Tim! They got your wife!" "But I'm not married!" "You are now... TO AMERICA."
>Cowboy Advice: Be Rootin'. Be Tootin'. And by god be Shootin' but most of all, be kind

If Jackson likes County Music, Ellie likes Classical Music, and DJ likes Electro Dance Music, then what’s their opinion on Rock Music? In fact what’s everyone in the Dino Daycare’s opinion on Rock? because It’s one of my favorite music genres, and I want to know how’d they’d react to songs like Break Free (Lead The Way) from Mario Odyssey or… Any Sonic Song Crush 40 has made.
