The 2 stallions hiding behind the lorry heard the automatic weapons fire cease as they frantically reloaded their revolvers.

They were dropping the last cartridges into their cylinders when they heard hollow metallic clatter of an empty magazine hitting the asphalt. However even as they were getting ready to return fire they heard the solid cachunk of a magazine being seated followed by the klichak of a charging handle being worked. Then 30-06 projectiles started once again punching holes through the truck with alarming ease. At the same time the zebra continued her impromptu sales spiel.
