The Dream Maker is a common scary kids story to tell around the campfire, while others believe if is nothing but fiction some believe it's a forgotten evolution of Musharna.
The Dream Maker, While most of it kind uses its abilities with the dream mist to protect themselves, I see the Dream Maker as a creature that uses it for hunting.
The Dream Makers and its herd will hide in a deep pink fog the Dream Maker creates which is actually dream mist, waiting for the perfect target to arrive, someone that is alone.
When they find the target Dream Maker expands its 'Dream Fog' to cover the area making the victim unable to tell where they are and unknowingly breathing in the dream mist.
It's from here that the victim will start 'seeing' things, hallucinations from the most recent dreams, which will soon be devoured by the Dream Maker and its Munna kin, they never psychically hurt the victim they just want to eat their dreams/hallucinations then leave once they have had their fill which by then the target has past out.
The target will experience no dreams or nightmares, and wake in a 'safe' spot, be it a park bench, bus stop or right in front of a Pokemon centre.
While not psychically harmed, the victim will be really exhausted from the experience, and won't have any kind of dreams for the next couple of days, some say they'll never have dreams again or that the person will have lost any ambition for the things they loved or strived for.
