Blaze currently is the king of the fire kingdom. As a charmander he had a twin brother under their father. Both were set to be the heir to the throne. Both were excelling in two different fields. One was successful in strength, while the other was a master at tactics. Both always were evenly matched in any sparring match. As they grew older however, the petty sibling rivalry grew into something more.
Soon enough when the two boys were both charmeleon’s when their father fell ill. This led to a dispute between the two of them over who would get the throne. Eventually this would only end in tragedy. Blaze’s brother had leapt at him one night when they were alone, and a scuffle unfolded. Ultimately one of the boys had to die, and the one to survive was Blaze.
A year or so later after Blaze had evolved their father had passed away due to his illness. This left Blaze alone. Their mother had left soon after the twins were born, leaving Blaze to be the sole heir to a throne he wasn't sure how to rule.
There was one person left however there to help him. A Cinderance around his age that was always around Blaze’s father. This Cinderance’s name was Faia. Being the strong man he was at the time, he challenged Faia to a duel. He lost easily and was amazed by her sheer strength. He realized her skills and understood why she was made captain of the royal guard of the fire kingdom. Eventually after a long back and forth Faia and Blaze got married.
Faia soon had a child, a raboot named Moreu. Blaze was overjoyed to see his newborn child, and swore an oath to always protect him the best he could. Later on, during the yearly exhibition match between the fighting and fire kingdom…. Blaze had seen two pokemon sumo wrestling. Seeing this as a new form of strength, Blaze resolved to become a sumo wrestler. This led to him overconsuming copious amounts of food, not realizing that is not how you become a sumo wrestler. That is what leads him to his appearance today.
