Just referencing the Simpsons as a joke.
At any rate staying around here too long would just cause too many questions. Best for them just leave as soon as is convenient.
Saida seemed as equally surprised as Roko and Brand that the egg-taking thing was apparently allowed, so either it's not common knowledge or just Saida specifically never learned that.

Interesting and concerning. As for one Saida seems to have no idea what these “Dark Aves” are and that they’re just allowed to steal unborn Ave children for some reason. And two, while they have souls as Roko demonstrated they don’t seem to have minds of their own if the blank white eyes and lack of speech is anything to go off on. Something tells me that while Roko may have gotten them all in trouble (again) he saved that egg and the unborn Ave within it from a fate worse than death.
Who exactly told these aves that the dark aves were allowed to take their eggs, and why was this egg “missing” if the dark ave was allowed to take it freely in the first place? Something doesn’t add up here… I don’t intend to defend the quetz, but to say that they were behind this would be strangely roundabout, when then they were already given these eggs as “tribute”. Could it be an enemy of the quetz, or for something that couldn’t be traced to them…? This definitely isn’t above board, whatever it is.
