My partner and I often attend anime conventions and my bf recently expressed interest in doing a cosplay. He choose the character Tsukasa shishio from Dr.stone, one cause its a fairly easy cosplay to make and two cause with this character he could wear his own hair instead of using a wig.

One thing i was instantly excited about was to be making the Lion pelt!
Not all materials color match the source material, but we opted for locally sourced goods and choose for a more muted 'Realisitc'' looking color scheme.
( Tho too be fair the anime isint very consistent either).

But creating this cloak was SO much fun, i hand sewn all the mane spikes too really make the cloak look at spiky as in the show. and added these awesome resin printed claws my awesome bud Roar n clank printed for me. This project was SO much easier than any fursuit work, so honestly i really enjoyed makin this.
for the other materials for the cosplay we choose to choose rough weaved linnen and natural fabrics. cause in the anime itself they eventueally learn to weave fabric so it made more sense too use those exact materials for this cosplay!

Maybe we can upgrade this cosplay with also his spear and more things in the future, but well see.
