"These once lowly insects have been elevated by society to fulfil a glorious new purpose: A life of mundane servitude! Gashoppers are fitted with new joints, springs and bearings and then dressed appropriately to not offend the sensibilities of those who see them going about their work.
Gashoppers live solitary lives and are primarily used for diagnosing issues with infrastructure and occasionally for subterfuge. Their stridulations work as a complex but informative code which is interpreted by swarm handlers, who make a note of their findings and perform maintenance on these creatures as required.
Despite their poor status in society overall, Gashoppers are nonetheless appreciated by many people for their tireless work and as an example of the ingenuity of the mechanists they serve."
My second big Clipstudio project and an attempt to try and texture as many different types of material as I could in one picture. I'm happy with how it turned out even though I can see all the improvements I need to make! Clipstudio is so goddamn good, the brushes feel perfect and you can iterate so quickly on pieces. I really enjoyed dressing the little dude up and working on tiny details, but I can't fret around with it anymore as I'm itching to start a new project.
