BWOOOOAAARRRP!!!!!
The haunted cliffs of Pharloom rang with the sound, the belch rolling like thunder through the mist-choked towers. Hornet lowered her head after the force of it, crimson cloak settling back into place around her wiry frame. The echo faded into silence, leaving only the sound of her stomach groaning in triumph.
Her masked face was serene, eyes closed, the faintest smile curling across her features. Though far from Hallownest, she carried its weight upon her shoulders — not only as a knight, but as its princess-protector. That burden now pressed outward in the form of an immense dome, her belly round and taut beneath the drape of her scarlet cloak.
GWWWRRRGGLEEE… SLORRRSHHH…
The orb trembled with restless motion, the captive within thrashing, muffled cries bubbling through the thick walls of flesh: “HMMMPHH!!” Hornet’s gut sloshed in answer, the sound wet and commanding, silencing the protest before it could gather strength.
She slid her pale claws across the curve of her stomach, feeling the pressure of the life trapped within. “Peace,” she said softly, her voice steady and unwavering. “Your struggle ends here. I am sworn to Hallownest, and no power of Pharloom will sway me from my duty.”
The belly lurched, shaking beneath her hand. Her cloak rippled, spreading wide across the swollen orb like a royal mantle crowning her victory. Where another might have stumbled, Hornet stood tall, insectoid grace and regal resolve binding her like silk thread pulled taut.
“You resist still,” she murmured, tilting her head slightly, “but know this — I am not merely guardian. I am the princess-protector. My blade, my silk, my body… all bend toward one purpose: the safety of my kingdom.”
CHUUUURRRNNN… GWUURRRLLPPP… SLOOORRRSHHH!!!
The belly roared, drowning out the muffled cries inside. Each churn pulled the captive deeper into inevitability, the scarlet cloak swaying with every quake until it settled once more against the tight swell.
Hornet breathed deeply, her eyes still closed, the faint smile returning as she placed both hands upon her stomach. Regal. Composed. Unshaken. In the haunted land of Pharloom, the princess-protector of Hallownest stood firm — her colossal belly bubbling with victory, a testament to both her hunger and her unbreakable duty.
