Know of anyone who is quite short but very stocky and built? I find those types so cute, so I decided to draw a Welsh Corgi character. What he lacks in height he makes up with his positive outlook and attitude! Also taking name suggestions for the dog! Cat is for scale x3~!

Fun fact: Corgi literally means "Dwarf Dog" in Welsh (Cor being dwarf and ci being dog, but letters at the start of words can change in Welsh under certain circumstances, hence it "mutating" into gi).
Name wise, you could go with a good traditional name like Dewi (the name of Wales' patron saint), Dafydd, Llyr, Llion, Rhys, Huw, Hywel. Plenty of other options at this link, and I can try to help with correct pronunciation if you wanted: https://www.welshboysnames.co.uk/names-e-l/
Or for something different, I thought maybe Tyrion, as in Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones. He's short and Tyrion looks like a Welsh name and can be pronounced in Welsh.
