Very little is known about these highly illusive creatures. Few have claimed to remember seeing them throughout their childhood. While only a handful of people claim to still see and communicate with their own “guardian angel.”
Each account of these creatures are always different. As if they are just as distinct as those around us. However, there does seem to be certain notable consistencies:
1. These creatures always seem to be the same size as the ones they are “tied” to.
2. These creatures have proportionally smaller wings compared to their overall size.
3. The tails of these creatures have a claw-like appearance if they have 4 or less tails. Whereas those with 5 to 9 tails always appear more tail-like.
4. Their estimated lifespan seems to extend up to the time when the one they are tied to matures to adulthood.
5. Recounts of these creatures say they most often reflect the personality of the one they are tied to.
6. These creatures always only seem to appear to the one they are tied to.
As of recording this archive, only one known creature of this kind has shown to be an exception to these consistencies. Not only being able to appear in physical form, but can reveal themselves and communicate comfortable with the public. The one who calls themself, “Aerine.” They call their kind, “Spriter Angels,” a lower ranking class of angels tasked with protecting mortals until they can defend themselves. Although they may appear masculine or feminine, they are non-binary in nature, and that their appearance is based on personal preference to the one they are tied to.
They possess the ability to influence reality and fate ever so slightly, just enough so that life threatening events become that of near death miracles. These are just for matters of the physical world however. For any spiritual conducts, they prefer a more “direct” approach. All Spriter Angels can use their own spiritual power to summon a one and only weapon of choice, or if proficient enough, use their spiritual powers directly.
