Cross Section - Relentless-class Battleship
I always loved the old Star Wars Incredible Cross Section books as a kid, to me it really helped make a world feel lived in c:
so, as im going for a more pseudo-realistic take for my setting, it was I wanted to see for my stuff c:
Finally finished with the complete redo of the old one c: now that im finally actually happy with the battleship and such, I can move on and actually design their smaller cap ships and the like :U (and the next cross section is already in the works)

Oooooh, this is a very nice cross section! One thing of note that I don't see but would've expected was an addendum about the ship's armor, and the bridge having its own dedicated 'pit' of armor to protect the command center from penetrating hits.
I can see why you preferred the linear fusion reactor, helps with the ship's aesthetic (though I'd prefer seeing an armored donut in the rear half of the ship from its tokamak or stellarator fusion reactor).
Any particular reason the Relentless isn't armed with any fixed weapon emplacements to take advantage of how big you could make one?
Edit: Also for a >1km vessel a crew of 1800 seems quite small, even when considering how physically large the Ascendancy members are

Thank you! I wanted to put in so much more information but I just couldn't squeeze it in lol
Yeah c: the Ascendancy uses the liner style and other factions use the toroidial style, namely the Federation
A while back, before i decided to sit down and redesign everything to fit, I had spinal weapons, I like the concept but... my setting is commonly called "Cold War in Space", so my designs lean heavily into that? I love cold war tech and the cold war era at large so my setting is heavily influenced by it c:
Honestly, the crew number is a hold over from its previous iteration before I fixed the scaling problem :U I realized how low that is for a ship of its size after the fact but... I'll make it work someway in-lore lol other aspects are taking priority right now :U
