Meet Zoryana, a dragon obsessed with archaeology and ancient biotas (Her favorite is ediacara period and she is fascinated by all those "alien looking" creatures lived once)
And she is a non-magical dragon, so no shapeshifting nor fire breath. Yet, she can fly, but not too much, becasue you need to train for it and not spend days devouring all the archaeology books in the libruary-
