As I were listening to Gunship's remix of Sierra Vein's song 'Stronger' ( https://youtu.be/0jwQnRNx1gY ), inspiration struck me HARD and I had to draw something.
The picture was clear in my head. After having visited a flea market over a couple of weekends I've seen stamp paintings- basically you cut out whatever you want to print with a knife and then press a paper towards the cutout.
A finished painting in this style can look quite interesting as you basically only have to colors to choose from- on or off.
If the paper is white, then you have access to whites and if the paint for the canvas is black? Yeah, then you have black and whites with no gradients in between.
I'm pretty I've done something similar before, but that time with good ol' vectors. This time I wanted to draw manually- which probably shows.
I have something else in the works too which is taking shape, which is another revisit of mine.
