Summer seems to be lingering longer than usual this year.
The warm winds, which usually give way to cooler breezes that carry away the summer heat,
have instead decided to take a little longer and warm the land some more.
The trees still show bright green leaves, and the grass in the fields is more lush and flourishing than ever.
A weather that most definitively doesn't displease Prince Borgon,
especially since he's currently facing several meetings with the western tribes,
requiring him to frequently wear his fancy tribal attire.
A sense of freedom envelops him whenever he must forgo his usual jerkin
for a loincloth that leaves much of his body exposed.
Furthermore, amulets and pendants adorn his body,
making him feel more connected to Mother Earth.
On one of these journeys, he finds himself joined by a good old friend, the dragon Gydram.
Companions in adventure and friendly chatterboxes, the two tend to spend those days together hunting,
fishing, gathering edible plants and roots, and telling nice old stories by the fire.
During the journey, Gydram not only protects Borgon from wild creatures,
but also reminds him once more how important it is to see beauty in the little things:
a shower of shooting stars, the rustling of a forest speaking to the wind, and the strength found in kindness.
A true pleasure for the prince of Valmeridia, who knows that true leadership
lies not in violence, but in understanding and compassion.
He lies there on the summer meadow with his friend, lulled by the dragon's song~____________________________
